Meetings & Events Calendar

2015 Schedule

Why no monthly meetings? Because we need more leaders!  Without a team to carry the torch, Pascack Sustainability has discontinued our monthly meetings. But that doesn't mean we're going away.

We continue to support local sustainability issues and partner with allies on  introducing plastic bag legislation, opposing fossil fuel infrastructure projects and supporting renewable energy initiatives. If you would like to volunteer on any local issues, and can take a leadership role, please email:

If you can't volunteer, thank you for coming out to our events when you can!!

What:   Danger Zone March & Rally
When:  Sunday May 17, 2015
Where: Assemble at Sagamore Park in Teaneck, NJ

Join The Coalition to Ban Unsafe Oil Trains, Pascack Sustainability, 350NJ, Sierra Club of North Jersey and many other civic, faith and environmental groups on a 1.5 mile, family friendly march and rally with speakers and music. We're calling attention to the unsafe trains--up to 30 per week--carrying highly flammable Bakken crude oil through our towns, past schools, senior centers, day care centers, places of worship and over our waterways, including the Oradell Reservoir. Let's tell our elected officials: we live in the danger zone and we vote!  Ban unsafe oil trains from our community now!
